Prayers from God's people
Dear Father in Heaven & Earth,
I pray to you to comfort Pastor Paul in India - please give him Your strength and love to heal his heart from the violence done to him and his family. He's trying to serve you dear Lord. Help him lean on you and please restore his family. Strengthen their faith.
May the police and other officials see clearly and judge rightly - by insights You can give them. May justice prevail. Convict the perpetrators of the wrong they have done. May the Gospel go forth with greater success in this town. I pray You would be glorified ! In Jesus name ! Amen.
Father, I remember today the over 245 million believers around the world who are suffering under persecution because of their faith in You. I ask you to strengthen their faith and to give them Your peace that passes all human understanding. Help all of your children to remain strong in our relationship with you, to never fall away and to lead many others to salvation in Jesus, regardless of our individual circumstances. I pray for the persecutors, that they would know the love of God and have an experience similar to Saul in Acts 9. Amen
We pray for the dear people of Ukraine - to have freedom to worship You, dear Father !
We ask you to infuse wisdom into the minds of lawmakers. We ask for reasonable treatment of Ukrainian citizens. We ask you to build godly character into the hearts of Your children there, Lord.
We pray for justice and all the elements that glorify You.
In Jesus Name!
Lord I pray for all Christians in Syria and India. You are our peace. I pray they will know your deep abiding peace. I pray they will have courage and be bold in their faith. I pray that you will speak through them so your message will be proclaimed. I pray they will be able to forgive those who mistreat them. I pray your protection for them. I specifically pray for Patram and his family in India. They have suffered for your name. Heal their injuries. I pray that they will have great joy in spite of their circumstances. I pray they will sense your great love for them and have rest in their souls.
Lord, I pray that you will help these persecuted brothers and sisters when they thirst, I pray that you will send others to take care of them when their relatives can't or won't, I pray that you will grant them the grace to forgive their persecutors, that you will help them to remember that they will be with You in heaven one day, that they would commit their spirit to You and You alone and that they would think on the fact that you will one day say, "Well done good and faithful servant" Help them to win many to Christ and to remember that one day their race will be done. In Jesus Name, Amen
Lord, thank you for your children and servants in Nigeria. Thank you for saving them with your blood because of your unfailing love. May your love strengthen them to keep serving you and trusting in your powerfull name for as long as you call them to serve in Nigeria. And when they want to give up, may we strengthen them through your love and our prayers.
Dear Heavenly Father I pray for the Persecuted Christians for those suffering because of their Christian faith, that the Holy Spirit may fortify them with the courage to remain strong in faith, as well as with the charity to forgive their persecutors, we pray to the Lord. For your faithful who suffer for your name's sake, that you would grant them a spirit of patience and charity, that they may be found true and faithful witnesses to the promises you have made, we pray to the Lord. For those who suffer persecution for their faithful service to you, that they may rejoice to be united to the sacrifice of Christ your Son and may know that their names are written in heaven among the company of the elect, we pray to the Lord. For those who follow your Son in bearing their cross, that they may, in every trial, glory in the name of Christian, we pray to the Lord. In all of our prayers may it all be to the Glory of God. Love in Christ
May our Lord comfort the families of those two martyrs in Nigeria and give them peace that surpasses all knowledge. That those executors will one day wake up and accept Jesus as their Lord an Saviour.
I pray for courage and greater faith for those who are serving in those difficult places. That our Lord will provide all their needs
Thank you VOM team for all the work you are doing in the Name of Jesus.
Father, thank you for your promise to always be with us and these brothers and sisters who are being persecuted for their faith. Continue to give them strength and peace. Meet their needs for food and shelter, and healing physically and emotionally. Give them all they need to continue to be a witness for you.
Someone has said "The blood of the martyrs is the seed of the church" may it be so in the case of Godfrey and Lawrence.
Lord watch over these men`s family's, bless them and give them the courage and strength that they need at this time. In the name of JESUS. Amen.
For our brothers in the Lord who are now with Jesus, Godrey and Lawrence;
Dear Lord, I lift up the friends and family of Godrey Ali Shikagham and Lawrence Duna Dacighir from Nigeria. I pray that you would bring comfort and relief to his friends and family. May the word of their death and suffering in the name of Jesus Christ, the savior of the world be far reaching and that many would come to understand and receive You, Jesus as their personal savior as a result of these two young men who helped the persecuted Christians. We know that You Alone are God and that your eyes see all that is happening and that one day we will all stand before you. Help their persecutors to have been affected by this act and I pray that they will give their hearts to you as a result. In Jesus Glorious Name I pray, Amen

To my beautiful sister Asia,
I prayed for your release and for your family for so many years, I advocated for your release, carried letters for your release and wrote to encourage you for years, inviting others into the fellowship of His suffering Philippians 3:10 handing out prayer slips to remind everyone who signed the letter who and what they agreed to pray for -I love you, you are SO important to me. You demonstrate God's love and faithfulness well. I will continue to pray for you, and love and serve Christ by advocating praying, informing as long as I live! May God bless you and your family. XOXOXO (Hugs and Kisses times three :-) :-) :-)
I pray for Fatemeh, keep her physically safe from rape and abuse. May you Jesus be very close to her and to other Christians in that prison. May the guards be moved to be kind and realise the beauty of their testimony.Above all may those imprisoned sense your presence and love and your protection. In Jesus name I pray this.
Father, thank you for these brothers and sisters who are so committed and faithful. Your strength is evident in them. Thank you for encouraging our faith through theirs. Be their strength. Be their hope. Be their miracle. Give them all they require to shine your light. Give us, who live in relative safety, all we require to be as committed as they who are persecuted. What a witness. Praise Our Lord!
I lift up to you pastor Sukdev whose talk has been circulated over the internet and he fears for his life and his family. Please give him and his loved ones peace and security. Protect them we pray.
And may the video open many eyes to the truth.
Dear Heavenly Father, I come to You on behalf of the persecuted in Iran, particularly the young women, Fatemeh and Saheb who are in that horrible prison because they have refused to renounce their faith in Jesus Christ. I Praise You for the ongoing strengthening of the Holy Spirit, who is not only serving as their Advocate, but also enabling these Christians to stand firm and not deny their Lord. I also pray for their safety and well-being -- especially those who, like Fatemeh, are serving time in the notorious Evin prison. Lord, Please show yourself strong on their behalf. Let them know, today, that you have not forsaken them. In Jesus Name, Amen
Dear Heavenly Father, I bring before you the plight of the many Uyghur people who are suffering in Chinese prison camps because of their ethnicity and faith. Please protect them physically and preserve their health, as well as giving them the strong assurance of Your presence with them while they are anxiously hoping for release. Lord God, I implore that the Chinese government will yield to international pressure and stop the arbitrary detention of these wrongly treated people. I humbly ask this in Jesus Name, Amen.
Good Morning, Lord - My prayer today is for Pastor Sukdev, as well as his threatened family and friends. I ask in Jesus Name that you would surround he, his family & friends with your Heavenly armies. May they experience your presence and be protected from the attacks of these Hindu radicals. I pray that the veil of darkness & hatred would be removed from those who oppose him and that the truth of Jesus would be clearly revealed to them. Please cause the anger and hostility to dissipate against this brother and his family. Encourage this family today and fill them with a strong sense of Your presence. I ask that those who oppose the Christian message, to come to a point of repentance and salvation. Thank you for the prayers of so many on their behalf. In Jesus Strong Name, Amen.
Heavenly Father, In Jesus name I hold up to you in prayer all our persecuted brothers and sisters in the Lord, who are being unjustly persecuted and severely mistreated by other people in China, Iran, Pakistan and many other countries throughout our world. I pray that you continue to give them strength, perseverance and deliverance from their enemies. Lord Strengthen their faith and ours to believe your Word, the Bible, as the ultimate Truth. Lord help them to be a witness to their persecutors, so that they too will believe in You. I thank You Lord Jesus that you will deliver them from the Evil one. Bless them and their families abundantly in all ways for good. Thank You Lord that you hear all our prayers. We Love you Lord. Amen
This is a song we sing for those who suffer. I translated it from German to English the best I could.
Crying makes the eyes beautiful
When our tears are falling down
When the heart lays shattered
And the heart is far from laughing
Crying makes the eyes beautiful
When our eyes are filled with water
When the heart lies shattered
And there is no hope to be found
Bow your head into your hands
And let your tears fall
Crying makes the eyes clean
And washes away all distress and pain
Blessed is he who must suffer
He who must carry his cross alone
Jesus will lay you on His breast
When you are afflicted with heartache
The world loves good times
They are happy every day
They have a great love for their goods and money.
They have no time for crying
After life their tears will come
Since they had no suffering in this life
Crying suits the righteous
Because they live here in tribulations
There, their laughing will begin
Since they sowed here with tears
With the righteous there will be no suffering,
There in everlasting glory.
To all of our brothers and sisters around the world who are being persecuted and some who have been martyred may I just hope to encourage you all not to be dismayed at anything that happens to us as Jesus is with us and will never leave us. I just pray that a peace and calm will enter our hearts at this time and may the opposition see that we are not fearful of them and seek what we have in Christ and want this for themselves. When I think of these happenings I think of Mathew 5:44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you. Another scripture comes to mind 2 Timothy 3:12 In fact, everyone who wants to live a Godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted. We love you [here in North America] and pray for your deliverance from all of these atrocities. Num. 6:24-26 The Lord bless you and keep you, the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious unto you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.
