Persecuted Church Prayer Wall

"Pray for us, that the word of the Lord may run swiftly and be glorified,
just as it is with you, and that we may be delivered
from unreasonable and wicked men."

2 Thessalonians 3:1-2 (NKJV)

Serving the persecuted church involves lifting up our brothers and sisters to our Heavenly Father and asking for His intervention in their lives.

Our prayer wall serves as a source of encouragement for the many persecuted Christians who visit our website and, as a result, are blessed by your prayers on their behalf.

Join us in interceding for persecuted believers worldwide and post a prayer today!

Dear Father:  Thank you for the encouragement that comes from hearing the hearts and prayers of those who love You even though they are facing death and suffering.  Only You can give peace that passes all understanding.  Help them to know You are with them.  Thank you for Jesus who endured the cross for the JOY that was before Him.  Pray for endurance for those who suffer persecution for their faith in You.  Thank you that one day, You will return and right all the wrongs and those who have suffered for their faith will be rewarded with You!

Dear God,

I am praying for those who are being tested and persecuted for their faith in you. I pray for mercy and grace upon them and strength from you so that they can continue to persevere in their faith. Whatever their needs are be it encouragement, refuge, a place to stay, someone to pray for them, food I pray Lord that you will provide for them.

I also pray for the Holy Spirit to continue to minister to them so that they may know what is the right thing to do.

Lord give them courage when they face fear, give them peace when they face strife and give them the words to say when it is the time to say them. Remind them of the peace you give them in their heart, mind and soul.

In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN

TO my dear brothers and sisters who are suffering for their faith in Christ,

Forgive us, Father,  for our complacency here in Canada...for not wrestling more in prayer and speaking out on behalf of those who suffer worldwide for faith in Christ. God, we pray that you break our hearts for what breaks yours. May you strengthen those believers in areas of the world who are paying a price for belief in You. Give them your peace, your comfort and be a very real presence for them during stressful times. Please help those of us in countries where we do not yet experience such persecution to remember our brothers and sisters in prayer, and to be moved to do practical things such as raising funds to assist them. Thank you.

Father, I pray for my brothers and sisters around the world today who are suffering for their faith. May they be able to rejoice, like the early apostles, because they have been counted worthy of suffering disgrace for the Name (Acts 5:41). May they remember the words of Jesus in the gospel of John 14-17 where he speaks to, and  prays for, his followers. He is preparing a place for us (14:2). Jesus promises the Spirit of truth, whom we know because he lives in us (14:16-17). Jesus says: "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." (John 16:33 NIV).

Dearest friend in Jesus..  So often I have shed a tear for you and for others like you who are suffering for our wonderful Saviour...  He suffered so much pain on the cross and the beatings before the cross.. because He loves us so much and now ... because you love Him.. you are suffering too...  Be thankful that you are one of His children.. because when this suffering is over and our time on earth is ended... we will see Him face to face and we will be surrounded by beauty and joy and you will never suffer again...   Keep HOPE alive and know that we are praying  for you... in Jesus' name... AMEN

I pray that you would stop the militants who are committing these violent attacks  on people who do not necessarily have any agenda against Islam or its teachings. I pray that you would stop the militants by showing them that Christ is Lord and that He is God. In short, I pray that you would save their souls. In the mean time I pray that you would protect your children, that is Christians.

Dear Brothers and sisters in Christ

we are praying for you and for the Lord Jesus t uphold you with His mighty right hand. Where possible we pray he opens the way for you to reach safety, opening the way as he did the Red Sea. I have prayed Australian will especially open the doors for the ones who know Him and have been faithful and who have seen great suffering. Hebrews 12 reminds us to 'Look unto Jesus the pioneer and the perfecter of our faith who for the joy set before Him endured suffering' in obedience to the Father. God sent angels to strengthen Him in the Garden of Gethsemene. May he do the same for you and place the right people across your path, and deliver you. Your hope is eternal and your reward kept in heaven which no man can destroy or take from you.

May the Good shepherd watch over you
