Persecuted Church Prayer Wall
just as it is with you, and that we may be delivered
from unreasonable and wicked men."
2 Thessalonians 3:1-2 (NKJV)
Serving the persecuted church involves lifting up our brothers and sisters to our Heavenly Father and asking for His intervention in their lives.

Prayers from God's people
I pray for the believers in Pakistan who are being torn apart by violence and kidnapping. I pray for the women and young girls who are forced from their families and married off and converted against their will. I pray for the husbands, the fathers, the extended family who are suffering. I pray Lord God that you remember the plight of your people in Pakistan whose suffering has worsened. I thank you Lord that you see all things and know your own. Jesus said in John 10: I am the Good Shepherd, I know my sheep and they know me because I called them to follow Me. May we who are in freedom remember our brothers and sisters in chains for their faith. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ who will come again to be Our King. Amen.
I pray this prayer for pastor Aziz and his family, especially his kidnapped son.
"The Lord Bless thee and keep thee:
The Lord make His face shine upon thee:
and be gracious unto thee:
The Lord lift up His countenance upon thee and give thee peace".
Numbers 6: 24 to 26
I pray that the Christians in Eritrea will be strengthened in their spirits and health by God in a mighty way and protected from further government harm. I pray that the government authorities will see that the Christians are a people of peace and good will and full of God's love.
Lord I lift up my Nigerian brothers and sisters. I lift up my brothers and sisters in Eritrea. I lift up my brothers and sisters in every nation of the world who are undergoing persecution and I pray that they would have eyes as Daniel did to see that "As I looked, this horn made war with the saints and prevailed over them, 22 until the Ancient of Days came, and judgment was given for the saints of the Most High, and the time came when the saints possessed the kingdom." They WILL possess the kingdom, and even now are possessing it through their suffering for the kingdom. May we not stop joining with them in their suffering through our prayers. (Heb. 13:3)
I pray that God will give great peace to families whose loved ones have been killed, may their death produce a million souls in return.
May the Christians in China receive supernatural boldness to attend church and remain faithful as Daniel was in the lions den
Praying for the people of Entrea and for the repentance of President Efwerki. One thing keeps coming to mind as I am asked to pray and intercede for the persecuted church is this: "and the GATES OF HELL shall not prevail against her". Literally the gates of Hell have been opened and unleashed upon the church - but the clear message is that it SHALL NOT PREVAIL. Thank you Jesus for your Word, thank you for Holy Spirit who gives us authority through you to lift up those who desire to serve You and see change. Let the power of Almighty God and the faith of Your children praying-- bring about miracles, signs and wonders to destroy the enemy and any plans he may have to stop the progress of your church. All power is ours to bring down the strongholds of Hell that is trying to persecute, imprison or arrest unjustly, or injure any believers in Entrea. And i pray that in Jesus name...amen!!
May God supply you with fresh courage as you suffer in His name, know that the wonderful crown of life awaits you. See our Lord and Savior on the Cross bleeding to death while evil mocks and scorn Him, saying He helped others and cannot help Himself, He had all power to come down off the Cross, but He stayed on it so we can share eternity with Him and inherit all the vast unspeakable treasures that awaits you and me. Hallelujah Jesus
Eritrea: I ask God to protect the Christians there, especially the family that I personally know. I ask for freedom from oppressive leaders and that salvation can once again rule and reign in the leadership of that country. I ask God to raise up people within the current government who can somehow influence the current leadership to set the Christians free from prison. I ask for angels to protect those in prison, and to keep them safe. I ask for the Christians to have all the supplies and necessities that they need. I ask for a move of God in that country and to bring those people all to a saving knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
LEAH SHARIBU--We all watched, listened to, and followed the events that happened in at the school in Dapachi, Nigeria, in disbelief. We prayed nonstop and rejoiced when Leah's classmates were released. We wept when the five girls died. We rejoiced with GOD, all HIS angels and celestial beings, and the world when Leah refused to denounce CHRIST and wept knowing what that meant. We have kept her and her family in our hearts and prayers continually throughout every day, taking time out to mention her again to GOD, pray for her well being, and simply wonder how her day is going. She is one of us. She is a child of GOD, as we all are. And this child celebrated her 15th birthday in captivity this year. We love you, Leah, and pray for you continually.
When all this happened, I thought Leah's release would be quickly negotiated. I fervently followed everything I could read about it. It wasn't going that way. GOD had other plans. Then I thought it might play out like it did for Nebuchadnezzar, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in Daniel 3. It didn't work out that way either. The Nigerian national soccer team posted on the internet at one point it was going in to find and rescue her. That didn't happen. In Genesis Joseph was thrown down a well/cistern, sold into slavery to the Egyptians and eventually saved his people and a whole lot of people because of him being in Egypt with the power he had. GOD arranged all that. I'm sure his father and one brother prayed a lot for him when he first went missing and in the years right after that. I am learning a lot about time and timing. It really is about all about the LORD's time, not ours. We live in an age of impatience, where we want things done immediately at the push of a button. We don't want to wait on anything. I am glad our FATHER gives us lessons in patience. HIS timing is always perfect.
The human side of me has been wonder how everything is going with Leah. I envision scenes of Leah's rescue, her escape with other captives through the jungle, BIBLE studies with her, holding her real tight and reassuring her it will be all right, days at home with her family and school mates, attending church with her family on Sunday mornings, and her being regular kid again in her village, I don't know why Leah Sharibu is not home with her earthly family, but I do know that wherever she is GOD has put her there and HE is protecting and loving her 24 hours a day 7 days a week. HE has a purpose to all HE does. When things caused me pain, I used to ask why HE allowed things to happen. But HE has reassured us endlessly that HE is always with us:
- I will never leave you. Hebrews 13:5
- If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it. 1 Corinthians 12:26
- “Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you.
I have called you by name; you are MINE.
2 When you go through deep waters,
I will be with you.
When you go through rivers of difficulty,
you will not drown.
When you walk through the fire of oppression,
you will not be burned up;
the flames will not consume you.
3 For I am the LORD, your GOD,
the HOLY ONE of Israel, your SAVIOR..... You are honored, and I love you.
5 “Do not be afraid, for I am with you. 13 “From eternity to eternity I am GOD.
No one can snatch anyone out of MY hand. No one can undo what I have done.” Isaiah 43:1–5,13
When trials press into us, we can be glad knowing that, as painful as they are, and even when we cannot see it, GOD is using them to grow and perfect our faith.
These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold—though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. So when your faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when JESUS CHRIST is revealed to the whole world. 1 Peter 1:7 (from https://www.ourdailyjourney.org/2018/04/19/refined-faith/)
I pray for those leaders unable to return to their homes & churches in Turkey. Father God, may you strengthen them & comfort them. May you raise up leadership among the nationals to continue the work You have established. Equip these churches to carry on the work of ministry. Fill them Lord with your Spirit & help them remember all the things You have taught them. Glorify Yourself in this situation. Thank you that You are not surprised at any of these happenings but will continue to lead & guide them by Your Spirit.
For Christ sake, Amen
Dear Lord...we thank you for our faithful borthers and sisters across the world who are suffering for you. May we never forget those who are in prison as Hebrews chpt 13 says and may we never forget the heartache and pain of the families and husbands of those who have women taken from their own home. May the Lord God Almighty also watch over every pastor and church worker who has been forced to have beatings or is being punished for bearing your name, the name above every name. We thank you for the grace and forgiveness shown to those who persecute or torment them and it is by your Spirit that they stand strong. You are faithful to those who are faithful- we thank you for knowing the least of those who suffer so much for your name- especially separation from loved ones. We thank you for each who has been prepared to lay down their life for you and to say 'not my will but Thine be done' just as their master has done. We praise you for the recent release of our sister whom we have prayed for so much in the country known to you and that at last, she can be with her family. Some escape by Your grace and will and some suffer by the sword...we count it a great privilege to pray for them. May we, in turn, learn from them and be faithful when our time comes. Amen
To Pauline and her fellow widows of Palestine
"THE KING'S DAUGHTER IS ALL GLORIOUS WITHIN: her clothing is of wrought gold." Psalm 45:13a KJV
You, my sisters, are clothed gloriously within and without. Your robes are of Jesus's blood and righteousness.
"For thy Maker is thine husband; the Lord of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called."
Herein is the comfort, the comfort of the Lord, the comfort of His Word is yours. Here is my prayer:
May God, your Abba Father, your heavenly Daddy, meet all of your needs and the needs of your families, as you raise your children may they and you love him with all of your hearts, souls, minds and with all of your strength. May you and your children live a life consecrated to him a life that understands your destiny and calling in Jesus. May you all be used to extend God's kingdom plans and purposes. In Jesus's most holy and lovely name amen.
Pauline I want you to know something. When I first heard of Rami's passing, I prayed much for you at that time. You are so precious to Jesus that he laid you and your kids on the heart of a woman, all the way across the earth, in Canada, a woman who loves Jesus and loves you for him.
Did you sense the strength of the Lord as God's prayer warriors held you up in prayer? Did you feel comforted by your heavenly Father? He was right there the moment that you needed him.
Now you are helping other widows. As you help them, comfort them as you have been comforted by the Lord. Resist the devil and he will flee the Word of God says. God will continue to help you overcome as you 'cleave to him' as you cleaved to Rami.
"And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony" Revelation 12:11 a
God bless you and the church in Palestine, and the church in the Middle East. In Jesus name.
Rejoice Pauline and sisters and your families - We overcome because Jesus, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world, has overcome the world. Blessed be his glorious name.
Oh Father God
When will it all end
The bitterness, the anger, the pain, the strife
Lives so empty without your light
Comfort hearts filled up with pain
Send your love to lives again
Send your healing
Send your help
That people will consider others as themselves
When will it all end
When will it all end
When will it all end
Only you, our Father knows
But what a comfort it is to know your heart
To know that you're working to tear all of the bitterness apart
Come to heal and come to stay
Come to show this earth your way
Don't let the ugliness drive you away
Come to heal and come to stay
It's only by your love
It's only by your grace
That we may have peace today
In Jesus name
Thank you Father
And we will continue to pray
In Jesus name Amen
To all of my persecuted sisters and brothers
Our Heavenly Father, what an honour to be a child of God! Provide everything needed for your persecuted children to remain faithful and strong; spread their powerful testimony; and bring their persecutors into Your Kingdom. Help us love with the depth of Christ's love for us. Amen.
Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, we pray for all those precious children of yours who lost loved ones (350) in these demonic atrocities that took place on The Sunday Celebrations of the Resurrection of Jesus - May the Holy Spirit comfort them and may the presence of God be with them at this time ... Thank YOU, Father, YOU for Your lovingkindness in these terrible times of distress, pain and loneliness - this we ask in the Name of Jesus!
To all the persecuted churches and Christian brothers and sisters around the world may God's presence be holding you in strength and truth to the Glory of our Savior. In this time of year we remember what Jesus did for us while we were still sinners He is also able to do for those who do not know him as well. When Jesus said it was finished on the Cross He did what he said he came to do and that was to save the lost. I as one pray for your dedication and love for Christ in all you do and your persecution. May we [in North America] find that same strength as well. Mathew 5:11 Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. May Easter reflect on how God's Grace is sufficient. In Christian love.
I remember Leah, & Pastor Cao, among others, even those whom none of us knows about, in this world, who are suffering for their faith.....may our precious Lord give them the joy which ONLY comes from Jesus....
I weep for your suffering on a regular basis, & look forward to the day when we will meet at the feet of Jesus. ....
Look UP.....He is coming soon!!.....Psalm 91
Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. Jas 1:2,4
Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.”
Our Father in heaven,
I pray for my brothers and sisters in Ukraine. You know their circumstances, and you are well aware of the persecution they face. I ask, Lord, that you would give them the courage to stand on the firm foundation of Jesus Christ and to say, "I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile. For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: 'The righteous will live by faith.'" (Romans 1:16-17)
Give them your courage. Help them to trust that you are the Sovereign Lord, and you will care for them.
In Jesus' name, Amen
