Wurmbrands: The Jilava Prison

Richard Wurmbrand (1909-2001), the founder of the Voice of the Martyrs, was imprisoned for his Christian faith in Romanian communist prisons for 14 years. One of these prisons was the dreaded subterranean Fort of Jilava in Bucharest, which both he and his wife Sabina were held at different times in their lives.

In 2009, members of the International Christian Association visited the Jilava prison. People interviewed in this video include Michael Wurmbrand, son of Richard and Sabina, Tom White of The Voice of the Martyrs USA, and Merv Knight of Voice of the Martyrs Australia.
