India: Two Injured in Church Attack

India: Two Injured in Church Attack

A church in India recently suffered an attack that left two people injured, including the pastor’s wife, Raj Rani. Carrying swords and wooden rods, a mob of hard-line Sikhs and Hindus converged on the Evangelical Church of God in the Arniwala area of Punjab and attacked the believers. As VOM Canada’s Greg Musselman reports, the pastor and his family had to flee the area. Greg also leads us in prayer for those who were injured in the attack, as well as the other members of this church.

  • Pray for India

Despite the intimidation and violence that have taken place in many of India's states, may Christians wisely yet unashamedly preach the Gospel. Pray that indigenous Christians and foreign missionaries will minister in ways that do not hint at fraudulent conversions, unmasking the intentions behind the anti-conversion legislation. Intercede for India's leaders, that they may reign with justice and righteousness.
