Iran: Forced to Flee Extreme Persecution
Iran: Forced to Flee Extreme Persecution
Pastor Saeed Pakniat grew up in a religious Muslim home in Iran. As a young man, he started to question some of the customs and beliefs of his religion. This gradually led him to explore the life and teachings of Jesus. After receiving Christ as his Saviour, Pastor Saeed was tortured and eventually forced to flee with his family to Turkey and, later, to Canada. In addition to leading three Iranian churches in the cities of Toronto and Montreal, he also produces an online ministry that’s reaching Iranians in many countries around the world with the Gospel message.

- Pray for Iran
As the Gospel message goes forth over the airwaves, may the growth of the church continue to multiply despite persecution. Pray that the Iranian government will be open to change, allowing full rights and protection for its non-Muslim citizens as well. In the meantime, may those who are forced to flee the country find safe refuge and help so they can live in peace and worship the Lord with freedom.
