Nigeria: I Won’t Leave Jesus, No Matter What!

Rabiu Maigari's decision to follow Jesus was met with hostility and repeated attempts on his life. After coming to faith as a young teenager, he faced persecution from both his stepfather and later his father for refusing to convert to Islam in Kano, a Muslim-majority state in northern Nigeria.

Despite the threats, Rabiu remained steadfast, convinced there was no turning back after experiencing a personal relationship with Christ. VOMC’s Greg Musselman spoke with Rabiu in Jos, Nigeria, where he is currently attending Bible college and preparing to become a Christian author. Through his future writing ministry, he hopes to equip fellow believers to recognize false teaching within the church and grow stronger in their faith.
