Nigeria: The Story of Laitu, a Christian Woman Whose Husband Died a Hero

For several months, Laitu and her husband Samuel, who served as a leader of their local church, had witnessed violent raids by radical Fulani terrorists taking place in their village . However, on October 22nd, 2022, an attack took place that Laitu and her children will never forget. While trying to help a neighbour who was being attacked by Islamic militants, Laitu’s beloved husband, Samuel, was tragically martyred. Today, Laitu remains strong in her faith, and expresses gratitude for Christians in Canada who helped her start a business to support her family.
